Zondervan, a happening and creative Christian book publisher is rewriting the Bible. Actually, they are inviting you to rewrite it. The good folks from Michigan are on a cross country road trip to get regular people (hopefully with decent penmanship) to jot out a couple of verses of the Big Book. The Bible Bus is heading to 90 cities in 44 states. BC digs this project. It's a great reminder of the different voices that shaped and share the Book upon which our faith rests. Share. We all share it. Something worth being reminded of when we get too invested in a solo view of the world and the word. Rumor is Zondervan is hoping to get W and some other famous Christians to pen some verses. We're rooting for participation from all six of the BC featured preachers. Most of them are Zondervan authors so we're optimistic. We're bummed (and astonished) that there is no LA stop. Maybe a little BC road trip to SF or SD is required for this historic event.
